Yay! Pete got a new scanner! The strange thing is, though, that it seems like the image quality on my old $20 scanner was BETTER than the HP ScanJet. It might just be the quality of the pictures, though. At any rate… here are two pics from the formal this past weekend: the group (Matthew, Abby, Misty, and Me) and Pete & Abby. Enjoy!

Well… after scanning a few more things I\’ve decided that the ScanJet 2200 is, in fact, NOT as good as the $20 Acer Scanner that just broke. :-/ Tomorrow I get to take it back and exchange it for one that\’ll hopefully do a better job. I guess we\’ll see how that goes.

It could be much worse. You could have spent big bucks on a top of the line scanner, kept it in the box for about three months since you didn\’t have a computer that you didn\’t have to share as of yet then, when you took it out of the box, you found that you didn\’t have the correct connection, and that you\’d kept it for so long prior to realizing this lovely little tidbit that you only got half of your money back when you refunded it. Not, uh, that *I* did that, or anything, just a, you know, \”suppose\” kind of thing….
I still don\’t have a scanner of my very own. Good luck finding a good scanner!

I have a Scan Jet 3300C. Not that I have any idea how this compares to the Scan Jet 2200. I just assume mine is better because it has a higher number. It\’s also 2 years old. And it\’s like there\’s some kind of fan on top that wont let the pictures rest where I put them. No, they have to float all over the place. Reminiscent of an Air Hockey Table. Anyway. Scan Jet 3300C. yeah.

I picked the 2200c because it got good reviews for image quality. I\’m not sure what kind of standards CNet used, but the dark colors were horrible… had all sorts of noise in them. Bleh. I\’m going to go back and pick something up that\’s NOT a HP tomorrow… I think a Canon is the next on the list. We\’ll see how it goes.

I\’m not going to talk about scanners. I use whatever Pete has!! Haha. I just want ta say that I like Abby\’s dress!!
