I’d really like to severly beat some of the Alabama Fans who attended the A-Day Game yesterday. Today UA [Circle K] had a little fundraiser: we cleaned the football stadium after yesterday’s A-Day game. While it wasn’t nearly as messy as it could’ve been, I STILL hate picking up soggy nacho plates, spit cups, and dirty diapers. I shouldn’t complain… if everything was squeaky clean when the fans left it would be one fewer fundraiser for the club… but still. We managed to find five (5) dirty diapers, several boxes for “Skinless Weiners”, a clever disguise (the glasses/nose/eyebrows/moustache combo thing), and countless half-eaten snickers bars. Nevertheless, we managed to get it cleaned in record time and it’s over now. (And, Circle K is $1,000 richer)
I received some good and bad news from home today. The bad news is that my brother wasn’t successful in his bid for [Key Club] District Statistical Secretary. Everyone I’ve talked to said that he did a good job, hopefully he’ll keep a positive attitude about it all. The good news, is that my sister Kecia was endorsed to run for Key Club International Trustee in Anaheim, CA this summer. Regardless of the outcomes of the elections, those two are really doing some great things… and I’m sure they’ll continue to do so. RJ: Keep your chin up, things will get better. Kecia: Congrats! Ok, enough of that. Now start working on International Convention stuff.

I think RJ and Kecia both did a great job. I almost wanted to cry when I heard the name called for the Statistical Secretary. Oh, well…
Yeah… you know me, Ara, I\’m a regular garbage man. I really like cleaning up after people… you found me out.
As for RJ, well, everybody faces challenges and this is one of his. He\’ll be a better person for it.
