Having been caught up in finishing book one of The Fellowship of the Ring, I was a little delayed in Fiving tonight. Never the less, here are the five questions posted by Heather at The Friday Five. Feel free to answer for yourself in my comments box or on your own site..

1.If you could eat dinner with and “get to know” one famous person (living or dead), who would you choose?
This answers comes straight out of my Big Ass Survey: I can’t pick just one… either America’s founding fathers, a great mathematician or scientist, or a founder of modern thought.

2. Has the death of a famous person ever had an effect on you? Who was it and how did you feel?
Not particularly, no.

3. If you could BE a famous person for 24 hours, who would you choose?
Wow… probably the President of the United States or the Director of the CIA.

4. Do people ever tell you that you look like someone famous? Who?
Nobody had proposed such a strange notion until [Cathy] came along and insisted that I look like James van der Beek… whatever.

5. Have you ever met anyone famous?
My father having worked in radio for, well, ever, I’ve met several famous people. Probably the most personal, longest, and most recent encounter was playing softball with Tim McGraw. If I recall, our team won. This was right before he “hit it big.”

*Editor mode* Correction: I never \”insisted\” that you look like J.V.D. Beeeek. (*tangent*–what a dumb name–*giggle*) This is what I said: \”Lee (and John Paul and Daniel A. [a.k.a. \"DA\"]) said that they look alike…I don\’t see it.\” However, despite what I think, 57.1% of my voting population seem to think you do look like him, and I need not remind you how you voted!! ;) Perhaps it\’s not such a strange notion? …If it were strange, I probably would have been the one insisting rather than disagreeing! Hehe.

I insist on it. I thought it the very first time I ever saw the picture. (The one I think of as the \”Dawson picture\”.)

  3. Pete says:

Details details… you entertained the notion, which (though I do see a slight resemblance in the two pictures) I still question my day-to-day likliness to Dawson. :P

Hey Pete. Hope you\’re having a great time at home. I really can\’t believe that you have forgotten the numerous times that I have told you that you look like Anthony Edwards-Dr. Mark Greene on ER. To me, thats not a bad thing. Its kinda cool. Just thought I\’d remind ya!:)

  5. Pete says:

True, true! Although I think I need to be a bit balder before that\’ll work out. Thanks for reminding me! :)
