Every friday I’m going to answer the five questions posted by Heather at The Friday Five and post the answers here. Feel free to answer for yourself in my comments box or on your own site..

1. What makes you homesick?
Not much. I’ve always been good at moving on. The one thing that does make me miss home a little is my dog. Aww… yeah… I can talk to my parents and sibilings… but you just can’t get the same level of participation out of a dog.

2. Where is “home” for you? Is it where you are living now, or somewhere else (ie: Mom & Dad’s house, particular state/city)?
Well… “Home home” is right in the middle of the huge cornfield that IS downstate Illinois. My immediate family lives there. Though Tuscaloosa seems more and more like home every semester.

3. What makes it home for you? People? Things?
It’s a mix of people (my family) and just a good midwestern environment. I wouldn’t be at all opposed to moving back to central Illinois after graduation.

4. Where is the furthest you’ve been from home?
Unfortunately, I’ve never left the U.S. I have been to some of the extremeties… Buffalo, Las Vegas, the southeast.

5. What are you doing this weekend?
[Circle K] District Convention, baby! I can’t wait… it’s going to be a blast!

-Well… I only managed to get number 71 today.-
